Meme: Questions

This is one we last did in June and I have enough time on my hands to throw in questions today.

Pose a question (or as many as you'd like, and they don't
all have to be in one comment, so you can come back later
and add more if you want) to your fellow students,
teachers, townies, alumni and expatriates, and they will
answer them. These are IC questions and IC answers and
should be truthful! They can be personal or silly. You don't
have to answer all of them! Nothing counts in game, of
course and etc.

So, for example, I'd ping in with a question like 'Are you in
love? If so, with who? If not, why not?' And people ping in
under me and answer that question. There's no latesies on
this, because of the format, so people can ping in at their
leisure. And ANYONE can ask questions!

What are your thoughts on marriage?

Generally a bad idea but wonderful for the discerning, honest couple who has their eyes open.

I already kind of asked her to marry me and she said yes. Just need to get the siblings back and the ring in order to make it official.

Everyone should be allowed to if they wish it.

Sounds like being trapped.

Not something I necessarily see for myself any time soon, but it'd be nice. You know, eventually.

I don't really have an opinion. I've never really seen it that I can remember.

I've always figured I would get married eventually because of how I was raised. But these days, it doesn't feel like a someday-I'll-do-this-because-it's-expected thing. It feels like the next, natural step in our relationship.

I'm a little nervous about it, but it helps that we're...talking about it the way we are. It's not going to be a surprise when he asks, and I already know what I'm going to say.

Yeah, so my last two brushes with relationship permanence were a dude who literally stole my life force to animate a doll version of me because I didn’t wanna date him, and a fucking asshole who tried to force me to marry him for an alliance, used illusion magic to take my entire castle hostage, and CALLED ME A VIRGIN.

Fuck. Off. Are my thoughts on marriage.

I loved being married, would love to do it again someday if I met the right person.

So far I'm a big fan, personally.

I can't imagine legally binding myself to someone else, for their sake mostly.

I'm so glad the word girlfriend exists now because back in my day you basically had to use the word 'wife' to indicate a deep relationship even if you weren't actually married. It was very dramatic.

I have both been there and done that and it was a mistake.

. . . But that's kinda what I thought about love for awhile there, so really, who knows?

I would have stayed with Zhaan forever, formally recognized or no.

Right now it's not something that needs to be considered.

I wouldn't mind. Someday. Maybe.
