We seem to be having some trouble with the FH website servers right now (once every app period, I swear). That means we won't be receiving any emails or apps on the main admin email address right now, so if you need to contact us, please email one or more individual admins. If you've sent in any apps in the past few hours, you'll want to do so again when the website's back up.

ETA: And we seem to be back!

Son of ETA: Our webhost seems to continue to have some intermittent problems. So if you have your app open on our website somewhere, please check whether it's still up before submitting.

The last post of the finale of this BDE is up, and it includes all of you.

Time to remember! The strongest memories of the people gathered up in Special Collections will kick off a chain reaction, driving the Nothing away from the island, and then even further. Across time and space, people might find the word 'Remember' in the strangest places - and the people who do might get their memories jolted very briefly.

Bit by bit, the multiverse that was will be restored because of people's memories. Congratulations, folks!

... but there's one snag: Sometimes, things get misremembered. Most of the time, these memories will get corrected by overlapping memories from people who've seen things as they were. But sometimes, these can lead to little... discrepancies. Nothing big, nothing fancy - maybe there's a tiny pond somewhere that nobody else knows about, except for one girl, who always felt there was chocolate in it. Maybe someone thinks their guitar is more awesome than it really is, and hasn't really shown it to anyone else to correct it.

Or maybe a universe just gets lost down the drain, because no one at Portalocity or elsewhere bothered to think about them, or a snag in the system was hit and some memories were skipped, etcetera. These cases will be very rare - but that's why a few of Fandom's own (who asked the administration for it) won't be coming back.

What happens next? A post will be coming up soon where alumni and drops and anyone else can pop back into reality. They will do this in the same location where they were erased - so Ben will be waking up in Chilly Boulder, and so on. (You're also free to make your own post if you're an alum or an on-island character, of course.)

Drops will be allowed to call people and let them know they're okay until this Wednesday. Alumni will be allowed on island until Monday night, though you're welcome to use a few of your left-over days for December to stick around the island for a while.

And just to cheer you up... Fandom's advent might have had to stay back due to a case of the BDE, but now the island's bringing it back in full force to clear away the left-over emo!

Monday December 12th, powdered sugar will rain from the sky.
Tuesday December 13th, friendly polar bears will be roaming the streets, offering bottles of Coca Cola.
Wednesday, December 14th, everyone will wake up with their own personal Snuggie.
Thursday, December 15th, there will be a pile of cookies behind every door.
Friday, December 16th, gremlins will be going around the island, singing carols.

And that's it! You have all been excellent, guys.
