AWESOME!!!! Everything and everybody!

First off, we, the admins, would like to thank you all for a great event. We put these ideas out there and hope you will all have fun and you never fail to turn it into something beyond our expectations. We love you!

To the finale people,

Emails will be going out shortly. I apologize for not letting you know earlier, but I've been watching today's events to see who was where and how things played out before making a decision on who is going to be in my small strike team.

To everyone else (who is not a troll, thank you),

A Caritas post just went up. Zoe is taking it over so that there is a safe place to hold a council of war. People can report to her there with what information they have and the plan will be put together.

Then, the strike team will go off and do their thing and everyone else can go cause a diversion.

When the time comes to pick and/or volunteer for the strike team, we would like to ask that you don't volunteer your character unless you are one of the people who were picked from the volunteers in the original OOC post.

The posts for the finale will be going up in about an hour and a half to give the Caritas post time to get established

This is going to be quick because I am dead tired and I neeeeeeed to sleeeeeeep.

So, it is now known where the captives are being held. If people want to mount a rescue mission, they are welcome to do so in the morning. But, as some of the people don't want to be rescued right away *eyes Alec*, it will only be partially successful. It is up to you, the players, how this gets organized. We will put up a post for Efferton in the morning and you can have at it. It should be a concerted effort! Go team FH/Town!

The finale. In the morning, I will be emailing those who signed up for the finale to let them know what is going on. There will be something planned in the evening that everyone can participate in, whether they signed up in the original post or not.

I'm probably forgetting stuff, but I think my brain crawled into bed already and I need to go join it. If you have any questions, please ask them here. You can also email me - fh(dot)anonymous(at)gmail(dot)com - if you would rather not ask them in an open post. I will answer them as soon as I wake up in the morning.

Finally, what little I have read has been wonderful. I really hope that everyone is enjoying the invasion. I love my trolls and want them to stay forever. GOOD NIGHT FANDOM!

- There are currently two threads up which will eventually be opened up for fighty stuff. The church and Efferton can be assaulted, but please keep in mind that your characters don't know what is going on inside. There will be obvious troll activity at both locations, but since most of the hostages were grabbed quietly last night (which was awesome, by the way) there won't be any big indication that the captives are inside Efferton or who exactly is inside the church.

- A third post will be opening soon where people can fight trolls individually or in small groups as the trolls rampage through town.

- Later this afternoon (in a post set for this evening), some of the trolls will have made it to the top of the hill and will begin a minor assault on the school. Since we don't want to do any damage to the school, this will be centered on the main gates and the school grounds. So, come out and fight or think up some range weapons your characters could cobble together.

If you have any questions as the day goes on, you can ping me or one of the other admins. But, mostly it will be me. My AIM is FandomMonster. I will be unavailable for about the next hour (current time is 12:50 EST), but then I will be around for the rest of the day.

I will try to get the info post for tomorrow up tonight so that you all will be more prepared.

If I have forgotten anything, I apologize.

Tomorrow afternoon, there will be some visitors to Fandom. Please, make them welcome. They're very pretty. :D (Only those who have asked to be kidnapped will get kidnapped so please don't overwhelm them if you didn't sign up) They will be approaching their intended victims for the most part. People are more than welcome to notice the disappearances later in the evening, but please try to keep reactions on the low key end of realism.

The interesting stuff for most of you will start on Saturday morning. There should be a post bright and early Saturday morning. Then the trolls should start making their appearances around town. Please, for the sake of the plot, the site of Saturday's first post and the eventual location of the captives should be... overlooked? in the beginning (sorry, it is getting late for me, words are starting to thing... dance! in my brain).

Also, IF YOU WANT AN INJURY, THIS IS THE PLACE TO CLAIM IT!

Both the trolls and the medical people will be checking in the thread below to see what injuries people should be getting. If you don't claim it here, it won't be happening. PLEASE KEEP THEM REALISTIC (although, they are trolls so severe injuries are realistic).

Also, if you are wanting to do anything plotty centered on this event, you MUST email the admins about if first. This is an event for everybody and personal plots that are tacked on without notice would cause problems.

EDIT: REMINDER TO ALL KIDNAP VICTIMS: You will not have immediate access to medical attention. Please keep this in mind as you are deciding on your injuries.

Hey everyone. Next weekend (December 1st-3rd) is going to bring our big invasion for this semester. This time, the island is going to be attacked by trolls. Because no troll from any one fandom fit our specific needs for this event, we've decided to go with trolls based on folklore (with a tiny bit of some fandom stuff to make it all work out smoothly).

We would like to keep most of the specifics under out hats for right now, but we will give you any information you may need to know depending on what role you end up playing this weekend.

In order to make things a little more scary and destructive, we're going to need volunteers for several different aspects of the invasion:

1. Anyone who wants to be taken hostage by the trolls (don't worry, you will be rescued...probably). There will be many chances to try and reason your way out of captivity (anyone can volunteer -- this is not restricted to students).

2. Fighty types. There will be troll battles at various places so we'll need plenty of these (again, anyone can volunteer, but unless you manage to talk your way out of captivity, you probably can't be in both groups one and two).

3. Researchers to find out about the trolls: what can kill them, how to make them leave, etc.

4. A small group of people to participate in the final event to banish the trolls. We can't tell you what types exactly we need right now because we'd like to keep the finale a secret, but think your standard D&D party type deal. Selecting who is in this final group really depends on who volunteers and how things play out over Friday and Saturday and we may not even decide who is in it until Saturday evening (anyone who is a kidnap victim at the time of the final battle cannot volunteer for this group, otherwise anyone is welcome to request participation). You MUST be around and able to play on Sunday though. PLEASE do not volunteer for this group unless you know you will be available.

5. Townies who are willing to have their businesses destroyed by the trolls (how long it takes to get the place up and running again will be up to you).

There are OCD threads below for volunteering. As always, you don't have to participate in the invasion. Your characters can spend the weekend in their rooms or off island and easily avoid all the mayhem. Any questions?
