Tuesday, December 14th: Candles in your window. In holders. Single candles decked in ivy, or fully-lit menorahs, your choice. The menorahs re-light if someone (or the wind) tries to blow them out.
Wednesday, December 15th: Gremlins dress up as reindeer and go from door to door, hurling fake red noses at whoever answers.
Thursday, December 16th: Every audio player on the island keeps playing Carol of the Bells. Yes, including your AirPods.
And we open BDE day Friday, December 17th with a nice thick coating of marshmallow snow coming down in the first few hours. Which will, of course, repeat until Monday.
